Trump Towers to Debut in Kokapet: Why Hyderabad's Golden Mile Just Became a National Talking Point
Tribeca Developers and Ira Realty have brought the Trump brand to South India, with a ₹2,000 crore, twin 65-storey project on Kokapet's Golden Mile Road that sold ₹250 crore in penthouses before its launch.

The Brand Finally Crosses the Vindhyas
For over a decade, the Trump name in Indian real estate has stayed firmly north of the Deccan, showing up in Mumbai, Pune, Gurugram, Noida and Kolkata but never further south. That changed this week. Tribeca Developers, the brand's official India partner, has teamed up with Hyderabad-based Ira Realty to build Trump Towers Hyderabad on Kokapet's Golden Mile Road, the city's most closely watched luxury corridor. It's the eighth Trump-branded development in the country and the first anywhere in South India, arriving with a declared investment of roughly ₹2,000 crore.
The Numbers Behind the Skyline
This isn't a single tower chasing a skyline photo-op. The project comprises two 65-storey towers rising close to 800 feet, tied together by a suspended sky bridge at the 28th floor that carries the Trump Club, a landscaped, city-facing amenity deck shared by both structures. Spread across roughly 22 lakh sq ft of developable area, the development will hold more than 450 homes, a mix of 3.5 and 4 BHK units, double-height simplex residences, and 16 penthouses, priced broadly between ₹5 crore and ₹10 crore. Tribeca founder Kalpesh Mehta has pegged construction spend at ₹1,700-1,800 crore excluding land, with the land itself valued near ₹250 crore and total sales realisation projected between ₹3,500 crore and ₹4,200 crore over the project's roughly four-year build timeline.
Sold Before It Was Even Launched
What's turning heads isn't just the tower height, it's how fast the top end moved. The developers say all eight penthouses offered ahead of the formal launch have already been booked, worth around ₹250 crore combined, including a single ₹62 crore unit. The project has also secured its RERA registration under number PO2400010871, with Expressions of Interest now open for priority allocation before sales officially begin, expected around October.
The Vaastu Problem Nobody in Delhi or Mumbai Had to Solve
Perhaps the more telling detail is what it took to get here. Unlike Tribeca's earlier Trump projects up north, the Hyderabad towers had to be designed as fully Vaastu-compliant from the ground up, a requirement the developer says reshaped layouts, entry points and unit orientation well before construction plans were finalised. Mehta has described the process bluntly, saying it took the team about a year to get it right. It's a reminder that a national luxury brand still has to bend to regional buyer expectations, even one built on standardised global design language.
What the Partners Are Saying
Ira Realty's Narsi Reddy, whose family assembled the Golden Mile land parcel over several years, framed the tie-up as a deliberate wait for the right partner rather than a rushed brand play, noting the goal was a brand that needed no introduction anywhere in the world. Eric Trump, executive vice-president of The Trump Organization, called Hyderabad one of the world's most exciting luxury markets in a statement marking the brand's southern debut. Tribeca has also signalled this is only the opening move, with four more Trump-branded projects planned across India over the next four years, including entries into Bengaluru and Chennai, alongside early talk of hotel and golf-course formats.
Why Golden Mile Road Is the Real Story
Strip away the brand headline and what's left is a strong signal about Kokapet itself. Golden Mile Road has been steadily building a reputation as Hyderabad's most premium residential address, and landing the Trump brand's first Southern project here, ahead of Bengaluru or Chennai, effectively puts an institutional stamp on that positioning. Hommea sees this as the kind of anchor project developers and investors will be watching closely, both for how it prices against the rest of Kokapet and for whether the ₹250 crore in pre-launch penthouse sales holds as a signal of genuine demand rather than early-mover curiosity.
